Find out which medical procedures are covered by Direct Immediate Payment (DIP) by contacting your healthcare professional directly, or by visiting the official website of the Caisse Nationale de Santé (CNS). You’ll also find information on exclusions and special conditions.

No, the use of PID is totally optional. You are free to choose this method or to continue with a conventional method during your consultations.

No statement of fees will be printed. You will only receive a receipt for your personal share, in the form provided. Details of PID payments will be available in your online account at MyGuichet.lu or sent to you by post, depending on your preferences.

Yes, standard (or accelerated) reimbursement methods are still available. If you prefer not to use Tiers Payant/PID or dispute CNS pricing, you can still follow the usual reimbursement procedures.

Dental emergencies at ARES DENTAL

In the event of oral pain or accident, ARES DENTAL dental practices offer an emergency service, with or without appointment.

  • Available 7 days a week: Our clinics are open on Saturdays.

Dental emergencies with appointment
Contact our offices to make an appointment within the available slots. We will do our best to accommodate you promptly.

Dental emergencies without appointment
Our dental surgeries can also receive you without appointment, depending on the availability of the practitioners on site. We work with Luxembourg hospitals to treat dental emergencies.

Saturday dental emergencies
Our centers are open on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm. Book an appointment online or contact our secretariat.

  • Toothache: Unbearable pain requiring immediate treatment.
  • Advanced or poorly treated decay: Causes acute pain that must be treated promptly.
  • Loose crown or bridge: Most urgent for visible teeth.
